- This newsprint is part of the installation 'seduction of the quote' which is an ongoing series, an instructional framework held together by the title and a text piece which works as anchor or hyperlink. Its single elements are modules that can be reconfigured with every iteration of the piece, only connected by the source text. All elements of the piece are involved in each other's production. The paintings, loose pieces of fabric at first, were touched with various objects drenched in black and red ink, then copied while being moved over the xerox machine, some of them were later stretched on stretcher bars to be worked on again or flattened between two sheets of glass. The display is used to trigger a conversation between individual elements on wall and floor. The piece derives its meaning from this conversation, figuring out relations and hierarchies between forms of depiction and materiality.
